Speech and Language Screenings and Evaluations

A free screening is a quick way to determine if a child’s speech and language skills are in need of an evaluation and possibly therapy. Screenings provide parents an opportunity to learn about speech and language skills typically acquired by their child’s age and how they impact future academic skills.

An assessment of your child skills provides the clinician and the parent a description of a child's speech and language and/or feeding skills. The evaluation is designed to determine a child's strengths and weaknesses which are used to understand and treat a child's difficulties. Assessment results provide information that determine the length, frequency, and goals of therapy treatments.
